Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC, Placerville, is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a friendly shopping experience. You will assist customers, process sales at the register, stock merchandise, and help maintain a clean, safe store environment.

The role requires good communication, reliability, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs. Previous retail customer service experience is preferred, and part-time schedules are available in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, respectful environment with customers and team.
• Maintain store cleanliness, bathrooms, floors, trash, and overall neatness.
• Other duties as assigned.
