Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our Pembroke Park, FL location. You will assist customers, handle sales at the register, and help keep the store stocked and clean. You’ll protect cash, ensure safety, and contribute to a positive shopping experience for every guest.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and prior retail or service experience. This is a part-time role requiring physical effort and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must lift 30–50 lbs and handle frequent walking, standing, kneeling, and bending.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with staff and customers.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, bathrooms, floors, and rest areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
