Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Kentucky LP is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, manage sales at the cash register, and ensure the store is clean and well-stocked.

Role includes receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, replenishing stock, and maintaining a positive, safe, and friendly store environment for customers and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hospitality, or related fields is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are required.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Process sales transactions on the assigned cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise as needed.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and presentable store environment.
