Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. operates HomeGoods and other brands across the United States. This role focuses on delivering a highly satisfied customer experience, engaging with customers, and maintaining a clean, organized store environment.

Cross-training may occur to support multiple areas of the store. Key duties include processing purchases and returns accurately, promoting credit and loyalty programs, maintaining merchandising standards, and supporting safety and loss prevention initiatives

Qualifications

• Possesses excellent customer service skills
• Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs
• Capable of multi-tasking and adapting to changing directions
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
• Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without accommodation

Responsibilities

• Role models established customer experience practices with customers
• Accurately rings customer purchases/returns and counts change back to customer
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs
• Maintains merchandising standards and processes merchandise for the sales floor
• Drives store safety, cleanliness, and recovery throughout the day
• Supports store shrink reduction goals and programs
• Maintains a positive store culture through integrity and respect
• Other duties as assigned
