Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of West Virginia LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to help deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, process transactions at the register, and ensure store cleanliness and safety in Grantsville, UT.

The role requires strong customer service skills, the ability to handle physical tasks, and reliable teamwork. This is a part-time position with benefits including health and retirement programs, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks, stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with professional interactions.
• Maintain store cleanliness, restrooms, floors, and overall presentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
