Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Rocky Hill, CT is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. Responsibilities include assisting customers, handling transactions, stocking, and maintaining store cleanliness.

You should have a high school diploma or equivalent, prior retail or service experience is preferred, and you must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and stand for long periods. This is a part-time position with opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable.
