Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to help customers, operate the cash register, and keep the store clean and well-stocked. You will assist with unloading merchandise, restocking shelves, and maintaining a safe, courteous shopping environment for customers and staff.

The role requires good communication, teamwork, and physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift light to moderate weights. Prior retail experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail or similar environment highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping and bending.
• Strong customer service, organizational and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
