Job summary

Family Dollar in Arizona is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our store team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer.

You will assist customers with questions, manage sales transactions at the register, stock shelves, unload merchandise, and keep the store clean and safe while maintaining friendly, professional interactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and handle frequent walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and colleagues
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, and trash
• Other duties as assigned
