Job summary

Dollar Tree in Albertville, AL is seeking a Customer Service Associate to provide friendly, efficient service at the storefront. You will assist customers, handle sales transactions at the register, and help keep shelves stocked and merchandise organized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Unload trucks and stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and presentable store environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
