Job summary

Dollar Tree is hiring a Customer Service Associate in Alabaster, Alabama to deliver a friendly shopping experience. You will assist customers, process transactions at the register, stock shelves, and keep the store neat and safe.

This part-time role requires excellent communication, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Prior retail or service experience is preferred, and you will join a team focused on helpful, courteous service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
