Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our Valley, Alabama store. You will assist customers, handle sales transactions at the register, and help keep the store stocked and clean.

The role emphasizes safety, friendly interactions, and efficient operations throughout the shift. Responsibilities include unloading merchandise, replenishment, and maintaining a neat, secure store environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail or similar environments is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operating documents is required.
• Must lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform frequent standing and walking tasks.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while operating a cashier.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and replenishment.
• Maintain a positive and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Keep the store clean, restock bathrooms, sweep and mop floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
