Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our Montgomery, AL store. You will assist customers with questions and recommendations, manage transactions at the register, and help maintain a secure, welcoming shopping environment.

You will also stock shelves, unload shipments, and keep common areas clean while delivering friendly, efficient service. The role requires basic high school education and prior retail or service experience; physical ability for lifting 30-50

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable.
