Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to join our Harvest, AL store. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the cash register, and help maintain a clean, well-stocked shopping environment.

You’ll also unload merchandise, restock shelves, and ensure safety and friendly service throughout the shift. Ideal candidates have prior retail or service experience, can follow instructions, lift up to 50 lbs, and communicate effectively with customers and team

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe and respectful environment with customers and colleagues.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store and restock bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
