Job summary

Michaels Visalia, CA is seeking a Store Associate to help customers find what they need and to deliver a fast, friendly checkout experience. You will assist with stocking, unloading trucks, and maintaining store standards to keep shelves in stock and well-merchandised.

You may participate in omnichannel processes like BOPIS and SFS, with responsibilities including time on the sales floor, cashier duties, and adherence to SOPs and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be sixteen (16) years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including the go back/return process.
• Help with Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs and adhere to SOPs.
