Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate II to support daily store operations, from merchandising to assisting customers. You will be cross-trained to operate the cash register and switch to front-end duties as needed, while maintaining a clean, welcoming shopping environment.

The role emphasizes friendly interactions, accuracy in cash handling, and strong teamwork. Part-time schedule requires physical tasks such as lifting 30-50 lbs and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and meet demands of standing, walking, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.
• High level of integrity is required.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting is required.

Responsibilities

• Receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and processing freight safely per productivity standards.
• Merchandising and stocking as needed.
• Assisting with store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, trash, and neatness.
• Maintaining a positive, safe environment with professional interactions with customers and team.
• Managing sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintaining security of cash and protecting company assets.
• Other duties as assigned.
