Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Indiana LLC is looking for a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience in our Indianapolis area store. You will assist customers, handle transactions, and keep the store stocked and clean.

The role emphasizes friendly customer interactions, safety, and teamwork with leaders and associates. Part-time hours are available, with opportunities for growth in a retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and colleagues.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, and trash disposal.
• Other duties as assigned.
