Job summary

Michaels in Columbus, OH is seeking team members to deliver friendly customer service and assist shoppers in-store. You will handle checkout duties, participate in truck unloading, stocking and merchandising, and help customers with rewards and private label card enrollments.

This role supports omni-channel processes and store recovery to keep the shop well stocked and welcoming. Applicants should have retail or customer service experience and be 16 years or older.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred
• Must be at least 16 years old
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll them
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS/SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Maintain stock and perform merchandise recovery and returns processing
• Support SISO and AD set duties as assigned
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies for compliance and safety
• Interact with others professionally and serve as a role model
