Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Columbus–Hilliard, OH is seeking a Store Associate to deliver friendly customer service and help shoppers find items. You will participate in unloading trucks, stocking shelves, and maintaining planograms to keep the store well-merchandised.

You will handle point-of-sale transactions with accuracy, enroll customers in the Rewards program, support BOPIS and Ship From Store, and follow SOPs to uphold company standards while staying safety-conscious.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service and assist shoppers.
• Ensure fast and friendly checkout experience with cash handling.
• Unloading trucks, stocking, POGs, and merchandise recovery.
• Assist with Omni channel processes including BOPIS and SFS.
• Engage customers with rewards program enrollments.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; maintain store standards.
• Cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
• Follow safety programs and shrink controls.
