Job summary

Michaels in Columbus-Grove City is hiring for a store associate. You will help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions while ensuring a fast, friendly checkout with proper cash handling.

You will promote the Rewards program, participate in omnichannel processes, and assist with truck unloading, stocking, and merchandising. Framing knowledge adds value to cross-trained duties.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast and friendly checkout; cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards; enroll.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS and Ship From Store).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintain in-stock store.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; uphold standards.
• Interact respectfully; model company values and vision.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
• Other duties as assigned.
