Job summary

Michaels Stores is seeking a team member for Store - Alexandria, LA to deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop, and ensure fast checkout. You will participate in unloading trucks, stocking, and maintaining in-store merchandising while supporting BOPIS/SFS processes.

Preferred candidates have retail or customer service experience, strong communication, and are able to work nights, weekends, and early mornings. The role offers employee discounts and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Follow SOPs and company policies to ensure compliance.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers in rewards programs and enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including BOPIS and SFS.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Maintain well-merchandised and in-stock store and support shrink/safety programs.
