Starwood Hotels is seeking a Retail Coordinator to support the flagship hotel's retail goals. The role focuses on admin and operational tasks, vendor management, and guest-services support to enhance guest satisfaction and brand sustainability at the 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay site.

The position requires on-site presence, strong organizational skills, and teamwork to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of similar work experience in an administrative or hospitality setting.
• Post-secondary diploma or degree is a plus.
• Experience in reservations or guest services is preferred in a lifestyle or luxury hospitality context.
• Strong communication, organization and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support admin and operational tasks for the hotel retail team.

Retail Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Retail departments that support the flagship hotel’s goals in terms of guest satisfaction, team member brand awareness, reputation and sustainability. 1 Hotels is a platform for change, and the Retail Coordinator will be a key contributor to achieving these brand efforts at the hotel level, both externally and internally. This role will support the admin and operational tactics of the retail team of 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay through supporting the management of vendors, suppliers, administrative tasks and operational retail support.

REQUIRED:

• Passionate about organization and details with a minimum of 1 year of similar work experience.
• A post-secondary diploma or degree would be a plus.
• Prior experience in an administrative role, strong organization and technical skills, ability to multi-task and a team player.
• Prior experience in retail is a plus.
• Is flexible and willing to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation.
• 2+ years of experience in reservations or guest services, preferably in lifestyle or luxury hospitality
• Passion for the mission and values of 1 Hotels, with general knowledge of sustainability issues
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal skills and service/hospitality orientation
• Team player willing to pitch in to support colleagues in all areas
• This role will sit on-site.
