Eleven Western Builders, Inc. is seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead a diverse team of subcontractors and EWB personnel from start to finish. The role emphasizes precision, thorough documentation, and ensuring work is completed on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in a Superintendent role
• 3+ years experience building/remodeling in retail, hospitality, fuel stations, open store remodels
• Proficient in math, including take-offs and calculations
• Able to read construction documents and understand construction methods
• Computer skills: MS Office and project tools; StruXure proficiency a plus
• Possession of a valid CA Driver’s License and clean driving history
• OSHA 10 and CPR certification a plus
• Willingness to travel extensively across California and other project locations
• Ability to work flexible schedules and extended hours as necessary
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of subcontractors and EWB personnel from start to finish with precision and documentation
• Document progress using StruXure and send daily reports to Project Team
• Read job plans at least twice daily and inspect progress on site walks
• Conduct daily meetings with retail clients, EWB team and inspectors
• Coordinate site activities and supervise up to ~140 personnel per day
• Ensure projects finish on schedule and within budget; maintain safety standards
• Create, submit and track RFIs and change orders
• Travel extensively to project locations and stay on-site during critical phases
