Job summary

PENN Entertainment is hiring for a retail/guest-service role at our Jackpot, NV location. Starting salary is $15.00 per hour based on experience, with a Total Rewards package that may include benefits such as day-one medical coverage and a 401(k) match.

Responsibilities include handling transactions accurately in the POS system, cash handling, merchandising, stocking, and greeting guests to promote a welcoming shopping experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Must have excellent guest service skills.
• Must have basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Record all transactions in the POS system.
• Accurately handle all cash, checks, credit card, gift certificates and comp transactions.
• Maintain a daily high level of cleanliness in the retail outlet.
• Unpack, stock and price all merchandise and lift up to 25 lbs as needed.
• Greet guests at the entrance to encourage entry and browsing when not performing other duties.
• Complete physical inventory each month and record merchandise as packed.

• To assure all guests are courteously served with their purchases in a clean and attractive enviro nment at the retail outlet .
• Properly record all transactions in the Point-of-Sale system.
• Accurately handle all cash, checks, credit card, gift certificates and comp transactions.
• Maintain on a daily basis a high level of cleanliness in the retail outlet .
• Unpack, stock and price all merchandise in the shop as needed with the ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
• Assist in stocking and recording stock for all vending machines.
• Straighten, dust, and organize retail outlet when there are no guests .
• Greet guests at the entrance to the retail outlet to encourage them to come in and look around when there are no other duties to perform.
• Responsible for knowing all new policies and procedures in the retail outlet .
• Adhere to all policies and procedures for the retail outlet .
• Complete physical inventory each month requiring lifting, counting and using a stepladder.
• Merchandise products and new arrivals.
• Repack merchandise as seasons change, accurately record ing merchandise as it is packed.
