Job summary

L'Auberge Baton Rouge is seeking a friendly Retail Associate to join our guest-focused team in a fast-paced casino environment.

You will assist guests, handle transactions, restock displays, and ensure compliance with alcohol regulations. The role emphasizes accurate cash handling and teamwork, with opportunities for growth in a dynamic entertainment venue.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrated money-handling and math skills.
• Demonstrated ability to operate computerized cash register.
• Must obtain and maintain a current State Responsible Vendor Permit.
• Must obtain and maintain a current Parish Alcohol Beverage Control License.
• Typically 1 year of related experience or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate retail sales, including customer assistance and follow-up.
• Encourage and reinforce customer decisions to increase average sale and units per transaction.
• Stock and maintain the appearance of sales floor and merchandise displays.
• Operate electronic cash register to accurately and immediately account for payment transactions.
• Follow established regulations, guidelines and procedures related to the sale of alcohol and or tobacco.
