Michaels is hiring a Cleaning Associate at our Indianapolis store to maintain overall store appearance and cleanliness. You will help customers, keep floors and fixtures clean, and support safety and recovery standards to uphold our Brand Promises.

Responsibilities include dusting, mopping, stocking supplies, assisting with checkout, and participating in store maintenance tasks. Prior cleaning or retail experience is preferred, and candidates should be able to stand for long periods and work

Qualifications

• Experience in retail cleaning preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Comfort with assisting customers and handling basic checkout tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain store cleanliness and recovery standards.
• Dust and mop floors; clean bathrooms and high-traffic areas.
• Assist customers, help them find products, and participate in the rewards program outreach.
• Support stock and planogram processes and safe handling of cleaning supplies.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; report supply needs and safety concerns.
