Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Monona, Wisconsin is seeking a part-time Cashier/Sales Floor team member to deliver fast, friendly checkout and active customer support. You will help customers locate products, participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planograms, and promote the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.

Expected duties include omnichannel support (BOPIS, SFS), merchandise recovery, and adherence to SOPs while working in a climate-controlled public retail store environment.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift/move items.

Responsibilities

• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience with accurate cash handling.
• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Assist with truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
• Maintain store recovery standards and overall cleanliness.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, enroll where applicable.
• Participate in omni-channel processes (BOPIS and Ship From Store).
• Cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; support shrink and safety programs.
