Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona in Scottsdale is seeking a store team member to deliver an excellent customer and brand experience, and to help promote sales.

You will run registers, process payments, assist with donations, stock merchandise, and maintain a clean, safe sales floor in line with Goodwill standards.

Minimum qualifications include high school or equivalent, strong customer service and math skills, English proficiency, and the ability to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent math skills.
• Ability to communicate and understand instructions in English.
• Must be at least 16 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Performs POS responsibilities and processes all forms of payments.
• Requests cash donations at POS from customers.
• Establishes or identifies prices of goods.
• Completes closing procedures as necessary.
• Maintains regular and consistent in-person attendance.
• Greets customers and thanks them as they exit.
• Maintains sales floor following floorwork and standards.
• Stocks merchandise in assigned areas.
• Utilizes phones and paging systems for announcements.
• Maintains a clean and safe environment.
