Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona seeks a store team member to lead an excellent customer and brand experience, and promote sales for GCNA and its affiliated entities. You will run registers and help maintain sales floor standards.

Key duties include POS processing, asking for cash donations at POS, pricing items, and supporting stock and cleanliness in a cooperative team environment. This role emphasizes strong customer service and reliability.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent math skills preferred.
• Ability to communicate and understand instructions in English.
• Must be at least 16 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable.
• Ability to read and speak English proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Performs POS responsibilities and processes all payments.
• Asks each customer for cash donations at POS.
• Establishes prices using merchandise markings or guidance from on-site leader.
• Completes closing procedures as necessary.
• Maintain sales floor standards and attendance.
• Greet customers entering and thank those leaving the store.
• Assist in stocking merchandise and keeping the store clean and safe.
• Model Goodwill core values in daily activities.
