Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking a part-time Cashier to deliver friendly customer service at the checkout and assist customers throughout the store. You will engage shoppers, help them locate products, and ensure a smooth, efficient experience at the register.

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift boxes as part of standing duties.
• Willingness to perform in-store tasks including stocking and truck unloading.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast and friendly checkout experience; handle cash and operate POS accurately.
• Engage customers, answer questions, and suggest products or services.
• Assist with truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining organized shelves.
• Support Omni-channel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and in-store pickup where applicable.
