Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of business-related accounting practices and profit and loss statements.
• Must be able to satisfactorily perform all functions of a retail grocery store operation.

Responsibilities

• Plans and prepares work schedules and assigns employees to specific duties.
• Formulates pricing policies on merchandise according to profitability requirements.
• Coordinates sales promotions and prepares merchandise displays and advertising copy.
• Supervises sales staff, inventory counts, cash reconciliation, and daily transaction records; may perform these tasks as needed.
• Orders merchandise or prepares requisitions to replenish stock.
• Ensures compliance with security, sales, and recordkeeping procedures.
