Job summary

NBT is seeking a seasoned customer service specialist to support its Retail division in New York. You will advise branch personnel, resolve complex service issues, and ensure prompt, accurate guidance through verbal and written communication.

The role emphasizes deep product knowledge, policy navigation, and cross-department collaboration to improve the customer experience. Requirements include three years of customer service or banking operations experience and a four-year degree or equivalent

Qualifications

• Three years' experience in customer service, retail banking and/or financial operations support.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• In-depth knowledge of products and services.
• Ability to analyze situations using a broad range of criteria.

Responsibilities

• Assist Retail team with problem resolution and advanced operational support to enhance customer experience.
• Maintain understanding of bank policies and procedures and deliver solutions.
• Collaborate with Retail partners to support initiatives of the retail banking division.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
