Woodforest National Bank is seeking a full-time Banker in Fredericksburg, VA to serve as a frontline ambassador and grow retail customer relationships through exceptional service, proactive product recommendations, and precise execution of operations.

You will help customers with banking needs, explain products clearly, and support community engagement while upholding Woodforest’s core values of Ownership, Service, Community and Integrity.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant retail sales and/or customer service experience.
• In-store retail banking experience preferred but not required.
• Willingness to accept coaching and feedback to improve performance.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible or extended hours based on retail branch needs.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer needs and recommend banking solutions.
• Achieve sales goals through referrals and outreach.
• Resolve customer inquiries at first contact with internal partners as needed.
• Process transactions, open accounts, and adhere to policies and regulations.
• Explain complex banking products clearly in simple terms.
