Job summary

Alterra is seeking a Retail Associate at Snowshoe to deliver outstanding customer service, manage inventory, and assist guests with product selections. The role involves wrapping up daily operations, merchandising shelves, and supporting inventory management. Seasonal availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required.

You will enjoy on-mountain housing options and employee perks while contributing to a dynamic guest experience at Alterra resorts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Seasonal, on-mountain retail position with weekend/holiday availability.
• Excellent customer service and merchandising skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and process POS transactions accurately.
• Restock, merchandise, and provide inventory insights to improve sales.
• Participate in weekly cycle counts and receive merchandise.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment.
• Notify supervisor of supply needs and assist with opening/closing tasks.
• Support daily operations as directed by manager.

Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional customer service by warmly greeting and engaging with guests, efficiently handling phone inquiries, and managing all POS transactions with accuracy.

• Enhance sales opportunities by restocking items as needed, merchandising products correctly, providing insights on inventory levels, and participating in store clinics to gain in-depth product knowledge.

• Support inventory management through active participation in weekly cycle counts, and receiving and verifying merchandise.

• Promote a safe and organized work environment by adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean, neat, and orderly store appearance.

• Ensure smooth operations by notifying the supervisor of supply needs and reporting any internal issues.

• Execute daily procedures by completing opening and closing tasks, as well as other duties assigned by the manager and/or supervisor.

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED
