Job summary

Snowshoe Mountain is seeking seasonal staff to support village activities and guest experiences. Start dates are at the end of November and beginning of December, with housing on-mountain available for rent.

Pay is $15 per hour, and seasonal positions run throughout the winter. Responsibilities include setting up and breaking down events, assisting with site prep and equipment, and coordinating with several departments and children's programs.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality and tourism preferred.
• Experience in event planning/management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the success of village activities through setup, execution, and breakdown.
• Assist with site prep, loading/unloading equipment, and managing game, inflatables, and materials.
• Operate village activities and implement alternate plans in case of inclement weather.
• Assist with the Village Movie Series, including planning, equipment setup, breakdown, and weather-related relocations.
• Act as a flexible, cross-functional team member by supporting various departments and children’s programs across Snowshoe Mountain.
• Follow all safety and liability procedures to minimize resort risk.
• Contribute to the team’s success by living Snowshoe Mountain’s core values and assisting with additional tasks as needed.

Education:

Experience in related field - Hospitality and Tourism, Event Planning/Management
