The iconic Hotel del Coronado is looking for a Retail Associate to join the team! Join one of the last surviving wooden Victorian beach resorts in the world. After a $400M renovation and expansion, the resort is more stunning than ever.

Located on Coronado Island just minutes from Downtown San Diego, this 28-acre property was built in 1888 and has over 750 rooms, cottages, and villas, with 65,000 square feet of banquet space, and 10 food and beverage outlets including 4 restaurants, 2 bars, a food truck, marketplace, ice cream shop, and in-room dining.

Classification: Seasonal

Shift: Various – must be available to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays. The seasonal role runs from May to Labor Day weekend, with potential to extend to part-time or full-time after the season.

Pay Rate: $18.92 per hour, based on experience and location.

What will I be doing?

As a Seasonal Retail Associate, you will assist guests and sell merchandise in a friendly, efficient manner, ensuring outstanding guest service and profitability. Responsibilities include:

• Greeting and acknowledging guests upon arrival
• Demonstrating knowledge of merchandise, styling, and pricing
• Processing payments accurately using the point-of-sale system, handling cash, credit, and gift certificates
• Wrapping merchandise and packing orders for shipping
• Conducting inventory and maintaining adequate merchandise supply
• Responding to guest inquiries promptly and courteously
