The iconic Hotel del Coronado is looking for a Retail Associate to join the team! Join one of the last surviving wooden Victorian beach resorts in the world. After a $400M renovation and expansion, the resort is more stunning than ever.

Located on Coronado Island, just minutes from Downtown San Diego, this 28-acre property was built in 1888 and has over 750 rooms, cottages, and villas, with 65,000 square feet of banquet space and 10 food and beverage outlets, including 4 restaurants, 2 bars, a food truck, marketplace, ice cream shop, and in-room dining.

Classification: Seasonal

Shift: Various - must be available on weekdays, weekends, and holidays. The seasonal role runs from May to Labor Day weekend, with potential to extend to part-time or full-time afterward.

Pay Rate: $18.92, based on experience and location.

What will I be doing?

As a Seasonal Retail Associate, you will assist guests and sell merchandise in a friendly, efficient manner, contributing to outstanding guest service and profitability. Your responsibilities include:

1. Greeting and acknowledging guests upon arrival
2. Demonstrating knowledge of merchandise, styling, and pricing
3. Processing payments accurately using the point-of-sale system, handling cash, credit/debit cards, and gift certificates
4. Wrapping merchandise and packing orders for shipping
5. Conducting inventory and maintaining merchandise supply levels
6. Responding promptly and courteously to guest inquiries and requests
