Snelling Staffing Lexington is seeking a friendly Gift Shop Associate to create a welcoming, premium retail experience in Versailles, KY. You will provide hospitable service, process purchases, answer phones, and maintain attractive merchandise displays.

We look for 2+ years in hospitality or customer service, ability to lift up to 25 lb regularly, and availability for weekends, holidays, and evenings. Proficiency with retail software and money handling is essential.

Qualifications

• Availability to work 2–3 weekends per month, holidays, and evenings (when open).

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate, up-to-date product knowledge to gift shop customers.
• Take customer orders and process transactions.
• Operate the retail POS system.
• Handle cash accurately.
• Resolve minor customer issues and elevate when necessary.
• Deliver premium hospitality and customer service.
• Restock shelves and rotate merchandise.
• Perform light daily cleaning.
• Operate engraving equipment when assigned.
• Answer gift shop phone calls and relay messages.
• Assist with floor resets as needed.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Monitor supply levels and report needs to leadership.
• Communicate inventory questions or needs to the inventory specialist.
• Maintain presentation and organization of the gift shop throughout the day.
• Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
• Assist with shipping and receiving as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
