Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking a store associate to support merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and cleaning duties. You will help deliver an excellent customer shopping experience by working with the ALDI team and following store policies.

The role is full-time with 30+ hours weekly and a starting wage of $20.00 per hour, with planned increases over the next several years. Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and operate POS equipment is required.

Qualifications

• Must provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate store equipment such as cash registers and POS systems.
• Basic arithmetic and attention to detail required.
• Flexible to work independently or with others and meet tasks deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Models and fulfills customer service principles and escalates concerns.
• Informs management of loss due to outdated or damaged products.
• Uses POS system to scan/process purchases and reports scan issues.
• Adheres to cash policies and procedures.
• Open additional lanes to ensure efficient checkout.
• Stocks shelves and displays according to planograms.
• Complete curbside pickup orders accurately and on time.
• Maintain store zone standards and merchandising standards.
