ALDI USA is hiring a full-time Store Associate to support merchandising, stocking, cashiering and cleaning to keep the store at its best. Starting wage is $17.50 per hour with planned increases through Year 5.

Typical hours exceed 30 per week, with a comprehensive benefits package for full-time staff. Responsibilities include operating the POS, processing transactions accurately, stocking shelves, assisting curbside orders, and upholding store policies while ensuring a safe, efficient shopping

Qualifications

• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate all store equipment such as cash registers and POS systems.
• Ability to interpret and apply ALDI policies and procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and pay attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and with others.
• Reliable attendance and ability to meet availability requirements.

Responsibilities

• Model and uphold customer service principles and escalate as needed.
• Inform management of loss due to damage or outdated products.
• Use POS to scan purchases and report scanning issues to management.
• Adhere to cash policies and work with multiple check lanes.
• Stock shelves per merchandising planograms to maximize sales.
• Complete curbside pickup orders accurately and timely.
• Maintain zone and merchandising standards at all times.
• Assist management in achieving efficiency and loss goals.
• Support safe working environment and proper equipment maintenance.
• Follow inventory procedures and general cleaning tasks.
