Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia is seeking a Retail Associate for Production Outlet 6301 (Finance). You will help maximize efficiency, maintain store appearance, and enhance customer and associate satisfaction by processing donations for sale.

The role requires teamwork, adherence to the Retail Operations Manual, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Evening and weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; will consider a combination of education and work experience.
• No prior experience required.
• No professional certifications are required for this position.
• The associate is not required to drive as part of their job duties.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check is required.

Responsibilities

• Inspects donations and determines marketability following the Retail Operations Manual.
• Sorts raw material and categorizes for store use, salvage, or trash.
• Tags donated items according to rotation system.
• Hangs and places goods on the sales floor based on productivity standards.
• Produces the required number of items daily according to minimum standards.
• Communicates effectively with customers, peers, and management.
