Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia is seeking a part-time associate to support donations processing, store appearance, and customer service. Duties include inspecting donations, sorting items, tagging and stocking the sales floor, and following safety and dress code policies.

The role emphasizes teamwork, flexibility, and the ability to learn multiple production and customer service tasks in a retail environment. Evening/weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• No previous experience required.
• Background check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Inspects donations and materials for quality and marketability.
• Sorts materials for store use or disposal.
• Tags donated items and places them on the sales floor as needed.
• Supports production and customer service as needed.
• Adheres to uniform dress code and safety policies.
• Communicates effectively with customers, peers and management.
• Works as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
