Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia is seeking a Retail Associate Production (Finance) to support store operations. You will contribute to the mission by maximizing efficiency, maintaining store appearance, and ensuring satisfaction of customers and associates.

Responsibilities include processing donations, sorting materials, tagging, and preparing items for the sales floor. The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to standards, and the ability to learn multiple production and customer

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED preferred; combination of education and experience considered.
No previous experience required for this entry position.
Successful completion of a criminal background check is required.

Responsibilities

Inspect donations and raw materials for quality as per Retail Operations Manual.
Sort raw materials and categorize for store use, salvage, or trash.
Tag donated items according to rotation system and prepare them for display.
Hang and arrange sorted goods for placement on the sales floor based on productivity standards.
Produce the appropriate number of items daily according to minimum standards.
Adhere to uniform dress code and maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Communicate effectively with customers, peers and management and work well in a fast-paced environment.
