Job summary

ALDI USA store is seeking a dedicated Store Associate to handle merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and cleaning to maintain a premier shopping environment. You will work with the ALDI team to enhance the customer experience and support daily store operations.

The role offers full-time employment with average 30+ hours per week and starting wage of $19.50/hour, with annual wage increases through year 5. Join a team focused on efficiency, safety, and excellent service.

Qualifications

• Provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Operate store equipment including POS, floor scrubber, baler, pallets jacks and handheld devices.
• Interpret and apply ALDI operating policies.
• Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
• Perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Follow instructions and pay attention to detail.
• Work independently and with others.
• Organize and prioritize tasks to maximize productivity.
• Maintain reliable attendance and meet availability requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Models and fulfills all customer service principles and escalates concerns to store management as necessary.
• Inform management of loss due to outdated or damaged products.
• Utilize POS to accurately scan and process purchases and report scanning issues.
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures.
• Open additional check lanes as required to ensure efficient checkout.
• Stock shelves and displays neatly following merchandising planograms to maximize sales.
• Complete curbside pickup orders accurately and timely for customers.
• Maintain zone and merchandising standards at all times.
• Assist management in achieving efficiency and loss goals.
• Follow safety policies and keep equipment in proper working order.
• Adhere to inventory procedures and product handling guidelines.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to company standards.
