Job summary

ALDI USA is hiring a full-time Store Associate responsible for merchandising, stocking, cashiering and maintaining store cleanliness. You will deliver exceptional customer service and work with the ALDI team to optimize store operations.

The role requires 30+ hours per week with starting wage $18.50 per hour and scheduled wage increases each year through Year 5, plus a competitive benefits package for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Operate store equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubber, pallet jacks, handheld devices, computers, etc.
• Interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Perform basic arithmetic operations.
• Follow instructions and pay attention to detail.
• Work independently and in a team to maximize productivity.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers.
• Operate POS and handle transactions accurately.
• Stock shelves and displays per merchandising planograms.
• Process curbside pickup orders accurately for timely delivery.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety standards.
• Follow loss prevention policies and store procedures.
• Assist management to improve operational efficiency and reduce losses.
• Support safe working environment by addressing hazards and maintaining equipment.
