Job summary

The Container Store in Dallas, TX is seeking a Retail Employee / Project Specialist to warmly welcome customers, design storage solutions, and assist with curbside/pickup orders. You will manage checkout, enroll customers in our rewards program, and keep the sales floor stocked and organized.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, basic computer skills, and a flexible schedule to support our dynamic retail environment. Prior retail experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Retail sales experience a plus.
• Strong computer skills.
• Enjoys engaging with people and connecting with customers.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes and greets all customers at the store entrance or throughout the store.
• Connects with customers and suggests storage/organization solutions.
• Designs and sells custom closets and other storage solutions.
• Works as a cashier with focus on great customer experience at checkout.
• Enrolls customers in the rewards program.
• Handles merchandise processing based on the schedule (early morning/evening).
• Maintains the Sales Floor, keeping shelves stocked and presented per brand standards.
• Assists with curbside or in-car pickup and delivery processes.
• Organizes the stockroom to support selling efforts and efficiency.
• Performs cleaning routines and adheres to store procedures with accuracy.
• Engages with customers to solve their organizational challenges.
