Job summary

The Container Store is seeking a part-time Retail Employee / Project Specialist in Plano, TX to greet customers and connect with them throughout the store. You will design and sell custom closets, assist at checkout, and enroll customers in our rewards program while maintaining a well-stocked, orderly sales floor.

This role involves helping with curbside pickup/delivery and ensuring smooth store operations, all while delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Retail sales experience a plus.
• Strong computer skills.
• Enjoys engaging with people and connecting with customers.
• Understands retail is an ever-changing industry and requires flexibility in scheduling.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes customers at front entrance or throughout the store.
• Connects with customers and suggests solutions to organizational challenges.
• Designs and sells custom closets and storage solutions.
• Operates the register with a focus on a great customer experience at checkout.
• Enrolls customers in the rewards program.
• Maintains the sales floor according to brand standards.
• Assists with curbside pickup and delivery processes.
• Keeps stockroom organized to support selling efforts.
