Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Louisiana in New Orleans is seeking an entry-level Retail Operations professional for full-time work in a busy retail environment. You will perform cashier duties, assist with donations, stock, and merchandising while upholding Goodwill's mission and policies.

The role emphasizes teamwork, excellent customer service, and the ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights and weekends. A High School diploma or GED is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate clearly in English.
• Must be able to lift and carry objects up to 25 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule on short notice, including days, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register and process payments.
• Sort and hang garments and prepare it for display.
• Price and prepare electrical equipment and small wares for sale.
• Restock merchandise on sales floor and maintain cleanliness.
• Greet donors and assist with donations and receipts.
• Follow company policies and safety procedures.
