Goodwill Industries SELA is seeking a Retail Associate for our Marrero, LA store. This entry-level, full-time role focuses on delivering excellent customer service while performing cashier duties, stocking, backroom tasks and general housekeeping.

Responsibilities include operating the cash register, assisting donors, and maintaining a clean, organized sales floor. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Retail training may be provided.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate clearly in English.
• Flexibility to work days, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register and process payments accurately.
• Maintain clean, organized stores and backrooms.
• Restock and display garments and items on the sales floor.
• Assist customers and donors with information and receipts.
• Follow safety procedures and store policies.
• Attend work regularly as scheduled.
