Goodwill Southwest Florida is seeking a Retail Assistant Supervisor to support daily store operations and mentor staff under the Store Manager. You’ll help hit revenue and service targets while ensuring adherence to policies and mission alignment.

The role requires retail leadership experience, strong interpersonal skills, and the flexibility to work long hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year retail sales experience required; 2 years preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience required.
• Working knowledge of point-of-sale systems, donation systems, office computers, and telephones.

Responsibilities

• Support revenue, expense, and profit objectives aligned with store budget.
• Supervise, train, and coach staff to meet production goals and service standards.
• Promote mission integration and ensure policy and safety compliance.
• Assist with daily store ops including production, merchandising, checkout, and customer service.
• Contribute to performance standards through leadership and teamwork.
• Handle safety, financial results, guest and mission services, merchandising, admin, and staffing.
