Job summary

Goodwill Southwest Florida is seeking a Retail Shift Supervisor to support the store leadership team in daily operations. The role focuses on driving sales, maintaining a safe and organized environment, and delivering excellent customer service while aligning with mission goals.

The ideal candidate will lead staff, manage merchandising, and help educate customers and donors about Goodwill programs. A flexible schedule including evenings and weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of retail sales experience preferred.
• Ability to supervise and train employees in production, merchandising, checkout, and customer service functions.
• Ability to learn and operate point-of-sale systems, donation systems, office computers, and telephones.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized store environment.
• Assist in achieving store sales, expenses, profit, and Ecommerce goals.
• Supervise and train staff to meet production and customer service standards.
• Sort and price merchandise and maintain displays per guidelines.
• Prepare reports and manage store paperwork and loss prevention policies.
• Foster effective communication through store meetings and ongoing interaction.
